Sesame Seed

Sesame seeds have one of the highest oil contents. Sesame seeds are 3 millimeters long, 2 millimeters wide, and 1 millimeter thick. Its hilum is ovate with a slight flattening and is slightly thinner than the other end. Depending on the harvest season, sesame seeds have a mass that varies from 20 to 40 milligrams. Sesame seeds are also available in a variety of colors. The most common type of sesame is off-white. The remaining colors are brown, reddish, buff, black, tan, gold, and tan.
